Re Assistant Crown Solicitor.

With reference to the above appointment which

has been offered to me I shall feel cbliged if you will be so good as to inform me whether I can have an assurance that the fact that I will not be a Cadet Officer will not be considered any bar to my acting as Crown Solicitor in Mr.Kemp's absence, or to my succeeding him in the event of his promotion or transfer; in other words that with regard to this particular post I shall have Cadet status.
